Small Taster Fused Glass Workshop

A private, hands-on fused glass experience — just for you and your chosen group!

Discover the joy of creating with glass in a relaxed, friendly studio where you can experiment, explore and make something truly unique.

Unlike larger group classes, your workshop is exclusively yours, with personal guidance throughout and a fantastic selection of quality glass and creative materials to explore.

What makes this workshop special?

• Exclusively private – Just you and your chosen friends or family. No strangers joining your session.
• More glass to create with – Your creations are made using two layers of quality sheet glass, with a wonderful selection of additional materials to experiment with.
• An extensive choice of materials – Explore colourful glass, frits, powders, stringers, confetti, copper inclusions and more. You're not limited to a box of scraps!
• Your design, your choice – No set designs to copy. Create something personal with guidance and encouragement throughout.

What can you make?

Depending on your chosen designs, you could create two coasters, sun-catchers, hanging birds, decorations or a small decorative glass panel.

You'll learn how to combine colours, layer glass and experiment with different materials and techniques.

Whether you're completely new to fused glass or simply looking for a creative experience, there's plenty of opportunity to try something different.

Workshop Prices

The more people you bring, the less you pay per person!

Choose Your Workshop Duration

2 hours – Standard workshop

Plenty of time to explore the materials and create your glass pieces.

3 hours – Add an extra hour for just £35 per group

Fancy a little more creative time? Enjoy a more leisurely experience, experiment further and add those finishing touches without feeling rushed.

The additional £35 is shared between everyone in your group, making it particularly good value when attending with friends or family.

After Your Workshop

Your creations will be carefully kiln-fired and finished in the studio. We'll contact you when they're ready for collection, usually after a few days.

Alternatively, postage can be arranged at an additional cost.

Small or Large Taster Workshop?

Both workshops offer the same private experience, personal guidance and creative freedom.

The main difference is the amount of glass and materials included, allowing you to create more in the Large Taster Workshop.

For example, you could make two coasters in the Small Taster Workshop or four in the Large Taster Workshop.

Cancellation, Rescheduling & Gift Vouchers

Standard Private Workshop Bookings

• 21 days or more notice: Reschedule to an available date or request a full refund.
• 14–20 days' notice: Reschedule subject to availability. Refunds are only available if your place is filled by another booking.
• Less than 14 days' notice: No refunds or rescheduling. You may transfer your place to someone else.

Gift Voucher Bookings

Gift vouchers are non-refundable and valid for 12 months from purchase.

• 14 days or more notice: Rescheduling is available, subject to availability.
• Less than 14 days' notice: Rescheduling is only possible if your place can be filled.

You may transfer your booking to someone else.

Expired vouchers are non-refundable. Extensions may be offered at our discretion, subject to an extension fee.

If we need to cancel

In the unlikely event that we need to cancel your workshop, we'll offer a full refund or an alternative date. We cannot cover additional expenses such as travel or accommodation.
