Small Workshop

This workshop concentrates on building your confidence with various fused glass materials using confetti, stringers, frit, copper inclusions and sheet glass. You can expect to make items such as sun-catchers, a decorative panel, a couple of coasters, hanging birds or decorations. The options for design are as endless as your imagination. The only difference between this workshop and the larger workshop is that there are less materials included. It's an ideal taster workshop to become inspired and create some smaller items to be proud of. Your creations are usually fired in the kiln within a few days of your class (this takes around 24 hours) and then finalised to your liking. We shall then let you know when your items are ready for collection or we can post them to you at cost. The more friends or family members you encourage to join in the fun, the individual cost per person decreases!

• 1-2 people - £55 per person

• 3-4 people - £47 per person

• 5-6 people - £42 per person

• 7-8 people - £37 per person

Add an extra hour?

Two hours can fly by when you're in the creative zone! To ensure you have plenty of time to bring your vision to life without feeling pressured, consider extending your workshop. A longer session provides a more leisurely pace, allowing you to fully explore the materials, techniques and add those special finishing touches. 

Some customers are quite happy with the two hours provided. We think it's best you decide for yourselves, so we have given you the choice!

Mainland Postage/Collection

Once you have chosen a workshop you'd like to experience, you will be given the choice of mainland postage or collection at the checkout. After attending the booked workshop, your hand made items will need firing and finalising before you can take them home. If you are able to collect your items when ready, please choose 'Collection'. If you require the items to be posted to a UK location, please choose 'Mainland Postage'.

Cancellation

We understand that things can go wrong sometimes and something might occur which prevents you from attending your scheduled workshop. We will do our best to find an alternative place for you, but cannot guarantee a choice of date. If you do cancel your place once paid for, Kj Glass can offer the below.

• Cancel 3 months or more before your scheduled date - We will offer an alternative date of your choice subject to places available, or simply a full refund.
• Cancel less than 3 months but more than 1 month before your scheduled date - We will offer an alternative date of your choice
  subject to places available. We will only offer a refund if we are able to fill your place with a late booking.
• Cancel 1 month or less before your scheduled date - We will make all attempts to fill your place. If successful, we will offer an alternative specific date for you to attend. If we are not successful in filling your place, unfortunately we cannot offer a new date or refund. You are of course entitled to pass on your place to someone else.

Gift Voucher Booking

If your place has been booked with a gift voucher we cannot offer any refund, but the following will apply.

• Cancel more than 2 months before your scheduled date - We will offer an alternative date of your choice subject to availability.
• Cancel 2 months or less before your scheduled date - We will make all attempts to fill your place. If successful, we will offer an alternative specific date for you to attend. If we are not successful in filling your place, unfortunately we cannot offer a new date or refund. You are of course entitled to pass on your place to someone else.
• Should you allow your voucher to expire (1 whole year from date of purchase). Unfortunately we can not offer a refund.

If we need to cancel

In the extremely unlikely event that we need to cancel a workshop ourselves, for example, illness or worse...a power cut! We will offer you a choice of a full refund or an alternative date. We cannot be held liable for any other costs you may incur as a result of the cancellation (e.g. accommodation, booking).
