Small Taster Workshop

This private workshop concentrates on building your confidence with various fused glass materials using confetti, stringers, frit, copper inclusions and sheet glass. You can expect to make items such as sun-catchers, a decorative panel, a couple of coasters, hanging birds or decorations. You will learn to work with layers. The options for design are as endless as your imagination. It's an ideal taster workshop to become inspired and create some smaller items to be proud of. Your creations are usually fired in the kiln within a few days of your class (this takes around 24 hours) and then finalised to your liking. We shall then let you know when your items are ready for collection or we can post them to you at cost. The more friends or family members you encourage to join in the fun, the individual cost per person decreases!

The only difference between this workshop and the large taster workshop is that there are less materials included :- For example, in this smaller taster workshop you will have the choice to make two coasters. On the larger taster workshop you can make four.

• 1 person - £70 individual

• 2 people - £60 per person

• 3-4 people - £52 per person

• 5-6 people - £47 per person

• 7-8 people - £42 per person

Two hours can fly by when you're in the creative zone! To ensure you have plenty of time to bring your vision to life without feeling pressured, consider extending your workshop. A longer session provides a more leisurely pace, allowing you to fully explore the materials, techniques and add those special finishing touches. 

Some customers are quite happy with the two hours provided. We think it's best you decide for yourselves, so we have given you the choice!

Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

We understand that plans can change. If you need to cancel or reschedule your workshop, the following terms apply:

Standard Bookings (Private Workshops)

• 21 days or more notice - You may reschedule your booking to an alternative date (subject to availability) or request a full refund.
• 14–21 days’ notice - You may reschedule to an alternative date (subject to availability).Refunds will only be issued if your place is filled by another booking.
• Less than 14 days’ notice - Unfortunately, we are unable to offer refunds or rescheduling. You are welcome to transfer your place to someone else.

Gift Voucher Bookings

Gift vouchers are non-refundable.

• 14 days or more notice - You may reschedule your booking (subject to availability).
• Less than 14 days’ notice - We are unable to offer rescheduling unless your place can be filled. If your place is filled, we will offer an alternative date.

You are always welcome to transfer your booking to someone else.

Voucher Expiry

Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.

Expired vouchers are non-refundable. However, we may offer an extension at our discretion, subject to an extension fee.

If we need to cancel

In the extremely unlikely event that we need to cancel a workshop ourselves, for example, illness or worse...a power cut! We will offer you a choice of a full refund or an alternative date. We cannot be held liable for any other costs you may incur as a result of the cancellation (e.g. accommodation, booking).
